I hope that everyone is safe and sound for this Halloween and my thoughts go out to those hit by the hurricane.
This outfit is an attempt at finding a way to wear my new skinny high-waist jeans. I paired them with a vintage (1950's) sweater that comes just to the top of the pants and a beret that I knit a couple of years ago. The problem with the cropped sweater is that it reveals my navel when I lift my arms up, which I'm not thrilled about.
I think I'm just not loving these jeans because they do have minor fit issues in the front and I just can't look past them to enjoy the whole pant. Maybe I need to only wear them freshly washed (or try shrinking them a bit in the dryer) so they don't sag at the crotch? Or maybe I need to chalk them up to an almost-wearable muslin and try again.
